Estimation of Beam Reinforcement Quantity

Estimation of Beam Reinforcement Quantity

Estimation of Beam Reinforcement Quantity It is essential for every civil engineer to calculate the quantity of steel that is used in structure or which is going to used in structure.

Quantity of different diameter of steel bar that are going to be utilize in structural element.

To find out weight of steel you must need to know the cutting length of steel bar.
Total quantity will be, = No. of bars x Cutting length of steel bar x Unit weight For examples,
1) There is 3 nos. 16 mm dia straight bars in beam having cutting 8 m. Total weight of steel = 3 x 8m x 1.6(unit weight) = 38.4 kg
