After reading this article you will understand better how to calculate the quantity of cement, sand and aggregate in a plane concrete.
In the video, given below, calculations are based on the following dimensions:
Volume of concrete = 1m3
Here M15 concrete grade is selected with 1:2:4 ratios (cement : sand : aggregates)
Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3
It is known that 1m3 = 35.3147 ft3
Volume of concrete = length x breadth x height = 1x1x1 = 1m3. It is wet volume of concrete To convert it to dry volume, multiply wet volume with 1.54 i.e. 1 x 1.54 = 1.54 m3
Given below the data upon which the volume of cement in cubic feet (ft3) will be determined :-
Method 1 : 0.22 x 35.3147 = 7.76 ft3
Method 2 : 6.336 x 1.226 = 7.76 ft3
Find out the volume of 1 bag cement with formula :
Density of cement = 1440 kg/ m3
Mass of 1 cement bag = 50 kg
Volume of 1 bag cement = mass/density = 50/1440 = 0.0347 m3
In cubic feet (ft3) = 0.0347 x 35.3147 = 1.226 ft3
In this video I have shown how to calculate quantity of cement sand and aggregate in concrete.
Tnx for your information
ReplyDeleteU r welcome
ReplyDelete1.54 is what
ReplyDeleteTo get wet volume of concrete we take 1.54 times the dry volume of concrete
