Soil Spring Constants for Foundations Design

This spreadsheet program written in MS-Excel for the purpose of determining the soil spring constants for foundations for the vertical direction (Z), as well as for the horizontal directions (X and Y). Specifically, the soil spring constants, both at the surface and at a user input embedment depth, are determined in the analysis.

The soil spring constants obtained from the analysis can then be readily used and input into RISA-3D finite element analysis computer models of foundations, mats, and bases of pits or tanks. (Note: instructions for use are provided at the end of the calculation worksheet.)

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
