HOW TO CALCULATE THE QUANTITY OF TILES FOR A ROOM

Hello friends,in this article I will explain calculation of tiles in a room after reading this important article you will be able to about calculation of tiles in a room.so let’s get start We will calculate number of tiles in a room with the help of following steps.
STEP 1:
In this step we will calculate area of the floor :
We consider the length of the floor 14 feet and breadth of the floor 12 feet .
Therefore total area of the floor is equal to the length of floor multiply by breadth of the floor which is equal to 14 cross 12 which us equal to 168 feet square.
Area = ( 14 x 12= 168 feet square).

STEP 2:
How to calculate area of I tile ?
In this step now we will calculate area of one tile .
We know that the tiles are not of same sizes they are in different sizes there sizes may be 30 cm by 30 cm or 20 cm by 20 cm or 45 cm by 45 cm and 60 cm by 60 cm etc.
Lets we use the size of 60 cm by 60 cm of tiles.
We know that length of one tile is equal to 60 cm.
(L of 1 tile=60 cm)
Breadth of one tile is equal to 60 cm.
(B of 1 tile =60 cm)
Therefore total area of one tile is equal to 60 cm multiply by 60 cm which is equal to 3600 cm2 which is equal to 3.6 feet.
Area of 1 tile = 60 x 60=3600 c m2 = 3.6 feet square.
STEP 3:
In this step we will divide the area of floor by area of one Tile .
Therefore number of tiles required is equal to area of floor over area of one tile is equal to 168 over 3.6 is equal to 46.6.~47. Requirement of tiles for the floor
According to above step 47 tiles are required for the floor.
We will consider 5% wastage similarly we can also calculate tiles needed for walls according to above given method.
